Shipping & Refund Policy

Shipping Policy

1. Shipping Locations

We ship within Malaysia and to select international locations. Please check the available shipping options during checkout for your location.

2. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight and size of the items, as well as the delivery destination.

  • Free Shipping is available for orders over RM500 within Malaysia.

  • For international shipments, customers are responsible for any customs duties or taxes.

3. Delivery Time

  • Domestic (Malaysia): Estimated delivery time is 3-7 business days.

  • International: Estimated delivery time is 10-20 business days, depending on the destination. Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary due to unforeseen circumstances.

4. Order Processing

Orders are processed within 1-2 business days after purchase confirmation. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been shipped.

5. Local Pickup

Local customers can opt for in-store pickup at our academy in Melaka. Orders will be ready within 1-2 business days, and you will be notified when your items are available for pickup.

Refund and Return Policy

1. Return Eligibility

We accept returns or exchanges for the following:

  • Musical Instruments: Must be returned within 14 days of receipt, unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition.

  • Music Books: Books can only be returned if they are unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.

  • Music Lessons: Due to the nature of our digital product, music lessons are non-refundable. However, lessons may be rescheduled with 48 hours' notice.

2. Non-Returnable Items

  • Discounted or sale items

  • Gift cards

  • Opened or downloaded digital products (e.g., digital sheet music)

3. Refund Process

Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item(s) and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved:

  • A refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item was damaged or faulty upon arrival.

4. Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at inotemusichq@gmail.com with photos and a description of the issue. We will offer a replacement or a refund after verifying the issue.

5. Exchanges

You can exchange items if they are defective or damaged. In order to help with the exchange process, we request the following:

  • Record a video during the unboxing of your item to document its condition upon arrival.

  • If you need to exchange it for the same item, contact us at inotemusichq@gmail.com with the unboxing video, photos of the defective or damaged item, and a description of the issue.

  • Once verified, we will provide instructions for the exchange.

6. Shipping Return Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is damaged or faulty upon arrival.
